This is wonderful story about Joe, who is graduating this year from high school. When he wanted to be on the swim team, he did it. The tough part was executing the flips. The coach used a broom handle with a tennis ball duct taped to the end to signal Joe when it was time to turn.
I love this story not only because Joe will be a success in life, but also because of the attitude of Joe's family, teachers, school personnel and coach. The question was "how will he participate?", not "can he participate?". And low-tech solutions are my favorite, especially anything involving duct tape. Congratulations, Joe!
