Family First Braille will have a booth at the People with Disabilities/Disabled Veterans Job Fair on October 4 in Biloxi. This event is provided by Disability Connections, a wonderful local organization. The purpose of this event is to promote a more inclusive work force. There will be many local companies attending, and many organizations dedicated to assisting people with disabilities.
Take a look at the event flyer. Pretty awesome.
My booth will be there to let companies and job seekers know that I can provide braille transcription services to assist companies in building a more inclusive work force. I will provide braille copies of every handout that will be available in print materials if anyone requests them in advance. I will have a few braille copies of the exhibitor lists at my booth, in case someone who reads braille doesn't request the entire packet in advance.
Please attend this event if you are a person with a disability in search of a job. Contact me if you would like braille materials for this event.
I'm the owner of Family First Braille, the author of this blog, and the editor of Family First Braille Magazine.
