Yesterday the Tater Tot was in a terrible car accident, but walked away unharmed. I am so thankful he is ok. His vehicle is totalled, so I will be driving him around until we can get another one for him.
It is situations like this that remind me how incredibly lucky we are to have "boring" days, where nothing goes wrong. I am so thankful for my family, for my friends, for the wonderful people I didn't know who stopped to make sure my son was OK and called me to let me know. It just reinforces the reality that a very thin line separates us from tragedy.
Of course, my embosser will have to remain on the back burner until we can get things back to normal here. That is perfectly fine with me.
